Naples is my hometown and is the dearest place to my heart. Being a photographer for destination weddings in Italy, I travel a lot because of work, all around the Campania region – especially in Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri and Cilento Coast – and all around Italy, and I have the chance to visit many wonderful places.
When in Puglia I had the chance to take photos for this wedding ispiration, a bridal fashion shoot. Behind these wedding gowns there are two apulian artisan who create these wedding dresses one by one, fully handmade. This is the true spirit of this land, something made with love and devotion, with a care that makes evrything being eternal.
Ravello. The perfect place for.. well, everything! No kidding, is there around any other place so romantic and so sweet and with this kind and delicate atmosphere? Colin chose Ravello and its magic to propose to her beloved Katherine, and so the magic has begun.
Having a wedding, engagement, anniversary (or whatever!) portrait photo session in Sorrento is something that is impossible to forget. And I’m not talking about the photos – not only! – but about the whole experience you live while you’re there taking the photos. Sorrento is a town in South of Italy – it is close to Naples – where you could live the authentic Italian experience. You can find here some of the most beautiful luxury hotels of the Coast.
I think that a huge part of my job as a wedding and portrait photographer is to do my best to fit my vision with my clients’ desires and personalities. I considfer my work eclectic enough and I’m very proud of that, because I love to feel free in creation and at the same time having some boundaries – I believe that creativity works better within some limits, because you’re pushed to find an alternative way to express your concept.
Jason decided to make his wedding proposal to Courtney during their first trip on the Amalfi Coast. He wanted a very special backdrop for his proposal, so I offer him to organize everything during the cocktail hour at the wonderful Hotel Il San Pietro in Positano – one of the best luxury hotels in Italy.
Erin and Kolby came to Italy and chose Positano, and the beautiful Hotel Sirenuse, for their engagement photo session. Are you thinking about having an engagement, honeymoon or anniversary photo shoot during your visit to the Amalfi Coast? Consider to book your favorite hotel and do the photo shoot there.
I told you about the itinerant wedding of Friderike and Marcus in Amalfi Coast in my previous post. I loved taking their wedding portraits so much that I decided to dedicate another post to that photo session.
What is better than having a wedding ceremony in Ravello, in one of the most beautiful hotels of the Amalfi Coast? It’s simple to ask! Having your wedding ceremony in hotel Palumbo AND the wedding reception at Villa Magia in Positano! This is what happened at Friederike&Marcus’ wedding, and I was very happy of being their wedding photographer. First of all, Friederike and Marcus are a very glamorous couple. Both of them are very elegant, with a touch of classy style, and let me say that I was completely in love with that.
Apulia (Puglia in Italian) is a fantastic region to get married in. Apulia has become one of the most popular places for luxury destination weddings in Italy. Apulia is rich in ancient traditions to discover, history and nature and good food. The predominant color here is white: you could find everywhere the famous and cozy white apulian houses.
