I told you about the itinerant wedding of Friderike and Marcus in Amalfi Coast in my previous post. I loved taking their wedding portraits so much that I decided to dedicate another post to that photo session.
We walked down the typical streets of Ravello, from the Hotel Palumbo to the famous green door on the stairs and then to the main square, before leaving Ravello to go to Positano for the weding reception. I’m lucky enough to know Ravello very well, I’m there for some destination weddings and photo shoots in general, this is such an incredible place that so many fall in love with it. Taking wedding portraiture in Ravello is always a perfect exercise in finding the next beautiful light, another spot to take the best couple portraits, doing my best to fit the mood of the photo shoot with the personalities of my clients. It’s a job about listening, feeling and looking around with a open heart. I’m really in love with Ravello and with all the endless possibilities of beauty that the town hides and sometimes reveals to those who can feel.
